i am working with corel draw 9 have been for some time no problems until now. after i have made me file in vector, i go to flip it (as i need to print it onto shirts) and each time i do it duplicates it on top and rotates. leaving me with it on top, everytime i do something to it it duplicats it first and leaves it on top before doing what ive asked. ive never had this before i must of done something, can anyone plz help with how to resolve this.

sounds like a duplication option is on...

hattrack1 there are a number of ways to mirror/flip an object.
Try these and see if they give the same result:

Arrange>Transform>Scale: mirror appropriately and Apply (only)

Up top there is the basic mirror commands (next to grouped objects etc when you have an object selected)

Click and select an object...hold either the right or left handles..then hold down CTRL....then move mouse left/right until the object flips (proportionally snaps) either side.

If you want to try get rid of the problem you have you can:

Hold down F8 while Corel loads to reset to defaults.

Reinstall/ Repair install of Corel.
