Corel Draw 8 won't open file created in Corel Draw 9 ???

I have version 8, a customer sent me some files that were created in version 9 and they will not open. I get a window that says "invalid file format" even though they are still cdr files............???? Help......!!

You will have to ask your customer to save the file as v8, they have this option when they select 'save as'.
