I have been using Corel Draw 3 for may years. Program worked fine with Windows 95.

When using with Windows 2000, the program seems to work OK until I try to save the file. Will not save.

Is there any fix for this or am I now forced to upgrade?

I appreciate any comments on this subject.

Upgrade - no question V12 is so far advanced compared to V3 (and I thought V3 was brilliant at the time)

oh, gawd, yes, upgrade... if just for the fonts alone. v3 doesn't even use TT/T1/OT fonts, does it? Didn't it still use those proprietary fonts? I'm surprised you even got it to run under Win2K as most people trying to get v4 to run couldn't get it to work under 2K.

You're not alone version 3 was and is great.
I have hundreds of files that were created in 3.0 and still run it. By version 8 any previous file that had text fit to a path won't open with the text on the path.
So instead of redoing all the files I keep 3.0 loaded.

I'm not sure abour win2k but for 3.0 to save in winxp I have to use save as and change the preview image to 2k mono. Then the file will save.
