I have a document that I scanned in that has a gold foil.I have been doing my editing in corelpaint. I need to change the document to grey scale and then I need to be able to change the darkness of the gold foil only without affecting the rest of the document. Someone told me to use the "dodge tool" but I can't find it on CD11.
Thanks for any help,
Dave

well, the dodge tool is one of the paintbrushes, but I would not go about it this way, personally. I'd mask off the gold foil and then use the image/adjust/selective color tool or image/adjust/color hue or image/adjust/color tone tool. I'd also usually do a very rough mask, create a new object from the mask, do my color changes, then create a clipmask from the object and "erase" the excess of the object in question.
