I had to run two sets of business cards onto a color printer. The first set ran true with colors. The second set, with the same colors, showed accurately on the screen but printed MUCH lighter. I copied the name from the "bad" card onto the good one and still got a bad result. Is there a color setting somewhere in Corel that I missed? Help??! Grateful Kenny.

Kenny,

What type of printer are you using? Ink jet or laser.
Are both cards on the same paper? Papers will reproduce colors very differently.
Have you tried printing to another printer?
In your print driver window there are often device options you can change. Brightness, quality...etc. I relize they may not have changed between your card printing, but maybe you can get a uniform setting that will work from now on.

God Bless

Thank you for your reply, Scott. I am printing to a Ricoh color copier via Fiery unit. We never change the settings on any of the jobs. My guess is now, that the Logo has become corrupted and I will try to obtain a fresh one from the customer. Thank you once again. Ken

Is the file .cdr or some type of bitmap? If it is cdr never han one corrupt like that. If it is bitmap check to see if it is RGB or CMYK. Make sure it is CMYK sometimes Fiery's rip won't convert RGB as well as the software engine.
Just a thought.

God Bless
Scott

Thanks Scott ... tried that already. I will re-create the Logo over this weekend. Thanks again.
