There are many programmes to enable this from Co-Cut to Signtools3 to Sign-Go a shareware programme from Wissan (I think got a link somewhere) Many of the bespoke sign programmes ie Signlab have a cut down version which will take in eps and AI. Depending on what cutter you have there may be a driver or plugin downloadable from their web site I think Roland and Summa have one.

Gordon is right if you can get hold of a plugin for your cutter, it, along with Draw is a very cost effective way to cut vinyl lettering. The recognised sign programmes (I use Signlab and Easysign) do have many extra features geared to signmaking but I could easily make a living from Draw a cutter utility alone.

Hi All... I have been following this thread and it has help me very much. I am using a Chinese made cutting plotter which is HPGL compatible and work well with several popular sign making software. I want to be able to plot to this plotter directly from Corel Draw 11 from Windows 98 but I am having a little trouble. I downloaded roland95.zip and install this driver and chose a Roland PNC 950 plotter. The trouble is this plotter's plot seems to be limited to 23" width and 63" length and not only that it seems the X and Y plotting axis are reversed in the plotter side....meaning I can cut to a maximum length of only 23" on the plotter! Changing portrait to landscape in page setup does help. Appreciate if any of you expert out there give me some hints to resolve this problem. Thanks.
I think the pnc 950 is a relatively early plotter so your cutting issues may be the 'nature of the beast'. Almost certainly using a cutting utility from Cadlink/Easy sign (there are many out there)would be the best way to go if you can't get hold of Cut Choice as Gordon suggested. A thought though using a utility would enable you to cut to other machines not just Rolands so may prove a good investment for the future.
