Corel 12 Microsoft Word import

Hi,

Can anybody help? since updating CorelDraw 12 with service pack 1, large Microsoft Word files mow take anything up to half an hour to import into Corel Draw. These file only took seconds to import before the service pack. It doesn't matter which version of word is used - this even happens with files saved as TXT or RTF. There were far too many bugs pre service pack for us to be able to remove it - missing apostrophes etc. etc. etc.

Can anybody help, or do I need to revert to a previous version of Corel Draw? This would be a shame but v9 never caused these sort of problems...

Have you tried opening the file in Word, cut and pasting the text to Draw with the formatting intact when prompted. May not be a perfect solution but may get you by.
