corel 10 printer check

When WOrdprefect starts, it does a printer check and
if any printer do not respond, the program doesnt open
how do i disable the check?

The easiest (and maybe only) solution is to install a printer, even though it sounds like this system does not have one. You can add a printer in Windows (Start - Settings - Printer - Add Printer . . . ) pick an HP 4 or something and make it the default. WP will not be the wiser.
