Some days you'd do better to stay in bed.
Having lost the use of my WP8 address book on my main computer and having lost "Frequent Contacts" with five hundred or so addresses (my client list, I am afraid) in the folder transported to a second computer, I am now trying to import the addresses into CC on Corel 10.
With the following result:
Your address book frequent contacts will not be opened (thre is already a frequent contacts address book, empty, in CC10, so it could be either) as you have either cancelled your login or you have submitted an incorrect password.
I don't have a login to cancel, and I didn't submit a password. I am the admin here, and everyone else, for that matter. The password for windows login has always been the same.
There has to be an answer to this.
I believe, however, that I couldn't import directly from WP address book, anyway, but would have to export. Am I right?
It looks as if all is not lost, and I backed them up to transfer them to Palm (I congratulate me) about a month ago, but really, I am beginning to think that "THEY" don't want me in business.
Any clue at all appreciated.
Clueless in San Francisco, dealing with a desktop appropriately named HAL.
