Hey guys,

having issues generating a core file when my webserver instance crashes. Apparently I had nothing enabled in coreadm but since I have configured it, it's now enabled but still no core file after another crash. Heres what my coreadm looks like...

global core file pattern: /var/core/core.%f.%m.%p.%u.%t
init core file pattern: core
global core dumps: enabled
per-process core dumps: enabled
global setid core dumps: enabled
per-process setid core dumps: enabled
global core dump logging: enabled

Permissions are set rwxrwxrwx on the directories so shouldnt be a permissions issue. Not sure what else to check. This is on a solaris 8 machine with running iplanet 6.

Try command: limit

The variable coredumpsize can be set by the limit command so no core files are saved.
