In a fatal effort to fix one thing I created another.

I dragged files out of my Core Resources and into the Trash. Now I can't drag any files anywhere. As in dragging files out of Trash and back into Core Resources. Afraid to do a re-install, fearing I will destroy files needed for presentation next week. The files from Core Resource that are in the Trash are listed below?

Authorization Trampoline
BezelUI
Kerberos
lonelist
MirrorAgent
pbs
Setup Assistant
Tokenizers

Beside hunting me down and ripping the computer out of my hands. How may restore order or can I?

Start up from your OS disc. Then drag the files back to their appropriate places and see if it works.

If not, do an "archive and install". You will not lose anything. It will simply replace the system, leaving all files, setting, etc as they are. Your old system will be renamed "previous system" and remain n the hard drive When you put in your installer disc, you get "options". One of which is "archive and install". Read up on it in Help
