I have a customer that has about 10 of the new cordless phones(3910's?....don't quite remember the model number for sure, but is the latest ones that are out)on a Magix and he hates them probably about as much as I do. Is there any type of tweeking that can be done to help the signalling strength? I almost know that the answer is NO but he want's to pull them out and I have an incredibly greedy boss that isn't going part ways with the juice that he made off of these beauties, so I'm stuck with trying to come up with a solution without removing the phones. I suggested 900MHz analog phones from Radio Shack from the beginning, since they ALWAYS work better than the Avaya cordless', but since my boss knows more than any human being that ever lived, he pushed the Avaya cordless phones and then said: "Here...deal with it."

Thanks in advance.

You should have sold him TransTalk 9040's - they have great range and are pretty reliable. Too bad Avaya discontinued them.

I think the reason that Avaya discontinued the Transtalk 9040 was because it was an analog 900 MHz unit. This made it susceptible to interference from florescent lighting and other devices.

Mine seems to work just fine - and I have a block and 1/2 range from the antenna - concrete and steel building with lots of flourecents.
