All programming is done via the command line. There are different levels of passwords which allow access to different areas - the most basic levels is designed for customers to change names, speed dials etc but nothing critical.
The customer can either be given access to a command line utility (free) or buy the CoralVIEW Administrator of CoralVIEW Designer software which is a GUI software application and is again limited by the passwords on what they can and can't change but it's a 'click to enable' type application as opposed to command line.

Yes, any terminal emulation software will do. HyperTerminal or ProComm are the most common used. And plugged in to KB0 (or any other KBx).
If the system has a LIU or MAP card then it can be done using HyperTerminal or ProComm over a telnet session.
