for the whole list, goto START|RUN|then type "CHARMAP" you will get the characters you can choose, then when you click on one, in the bottom right-hand part of the window on the charactermap you will see Alt+then four numbers. Click on each character to find out the number.

Can't seem to make the Alt+0169 work in Photoshop. If you are working on a palette is it supposed to work when you are using the text tool? It doesn't as of now.
The alt characters work only in the text tool, and you need to have Num Lock ON. Also, the font that you have selected has to have those characters. Use Arial, Helvetica.. etc and see if it works. When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
If that doesn't work still, goto START|RUN|CHARMAP, and find the icon, select it, copy it it, close charmap, and paste it in using text tool only in Photoshop.
