Copying the Shape to PowerPoint without background

Hello,

I ve just started to use the AI and I have a problem with copying the shapes. I want to make a presentation in the powerpoint and I've created a picture of the protein complex. I would like to copy it into the power point but when I try to do it I copy it with white background! How I can get rid of the background and copy just the shape that I have created????

I would export the artwork as a .wmf file and then import that into Powerpoint. Then you should retain the transparency and it will be editable in Powerpoint depending on what effects (if any) your artwork contains.
