Hi. I'm attempting to copy and paste text and graphs from Word into an InDesign document and am having difficulty. Everything will go smoothly once but then I copy another piece of text from Word and go to paste it into InDesign and the the original piece that I copied then pastes. I've tried clearing my clipboard between all copy and paste functions, but to no avail. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Use PLACE on File menu. Don't copy paste. The place window will also give you options for bringing in the Word doc.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

You're probably trying to copy something from Word that InDesign won't let you place, could be a mixture of graphics, text, table or something.

File>Place>Locate file

Then don't copy and paste the images from word, they are pants.
