Hey,

Kind of an elementary question here. I'm trying to reproduce something I did before, but can't remember what I did to achieve it...

I have a couple of clustered servers. I want to duplicate one of these installs on a standalone machine, but I need to cart all the IIS settings over.

I know it's possible to export the full hierarchy of folders and files and load it into the destination server, but for the life of me, I can't think how.

Any pointers would be appreciated, as I don't particularly want to copy and paste the contents of all the individual files one at a time between machines.

Thanks,

Naith

IIS Console, Right click on Server and choose backup/restore.

Backup the file and then go and get it from this location

C:\WINNT\system32\inetsrv\MetaBack\

place it on the other server in the same location

and do a restore

that should do..... me think

Hope it helps
