I have a server running Novell Netware 6.5 that I need to copy the files from. It was part of a group of servers, and I've been unable to get it to accept logins again. I was wondering if there is any way to copy the files from this server to a Windows share from the console itself. Is it possible to mount a Windows 2003 share on that server and then copy the files over somehow?

I've tried copying to a USB drive but the server has USB 1.1 and I'd like to keep this as a last resort. Another problem with that is my file names are reduced to short names... any way to correct this if I have to go the USB route?

Thanks.

Not possible. I would remove NDS via "LOAD NWCONFIG -DSREMOVE" --> directory Options - Remove NDS, ignore all errors till it says its gone.. then reboot and go to the same options and reinstall NDS. That should allow you to login with at least 1 connection. The problem now is that DS is hosed (based on your previous post) and it is rejecting all connections. If you were to call in to Novell, I would guess they would have you go through the same thing.
