Hi, i was wondering, how can i copy one file from one webserver to another web server? Sort of like an update type of thing.

I presume i would have to use FTP commands such as ftp_nb_fget ??

Any ideas??

Martin

ftp would be one option.
or build an interface on the other server to accept POST data or similar and just update via http.
alternatively you could use email with a mailbox scraper at the receiving end,
filesystem transfers are possible if the computers can be exposed in that way (or via a vpn tunnel)
webdav is another option.

i'm sure there are many other ways too. you have not given us much information to be able to refine the possibilities.

i was looking into the ftp option.

basically i would like it to simply copy some files from one server A to a folder on server B. Server B is where i run the php script from.

I not quite sure how to go about it.

Any ideas??

Martin
