Copying fields.

HI.

I have a crystal report where the format is the same, the fields are the same but they are just coming form a different table. is there any way of copying the report and changing the references to the fields without putting the new fields in place of the old ones. Any help would be appreciated.

Open the old report and save it with the new name. Now go to Datbase -> Set Datasource location.

Your old datasource and tables will be listed in the top window. From the bottom window select the datasource (even if it is the same). Select the table from the top window then the bottom window and click on the "update" button. If the fileds are the same then you they will be updated without any prompt. If they are different you will be prompted to map appropriate fields.
