Hi

I have a table called 'tblEmployee'. When I press a button I have in a form, it runs a query which brings up all Employees from 'tblEmployee' that I have put a tick next to. What I want to do is so that when I press this button, it automatically puts these employees into a table called 'tblEmployeeTemp' as a report is run from this table.

Any ideas?
Many Thanks,
Karl

Karl,

Temp tables are a real drag on Access's performance. I would work hard to come up with a solution that didn't use a temp table. I've only had to resort to them once or twice in eight years of developing Access databases professionally, so my guess is there's a way around it here.

That said, an update, append, or make-table query should be able to do what you want. Check the help files for how to build these queries.

It would help people help you if you posted a bunch more information about what you're doing--some background on the process and some details about table and field names and criteria involved.
