Hello group,
Can anybody help me? I have 2 worksheets Sheet1 and sheet2 both with 2 columns a and b. On both worksheets in column a I have a list of part numbers in column b I have prices for the part numbers. Is
there anyway of copying sheet2 to sheet1 only copying partnumbers and prices that do not exist on sheet1, some part numbers are on both sheets any help I would be grateful

Andy

Copy list from sheet2 underneath list in sheet1 so you have one long list (with duplicates)

Select whole range

Data > PivotTable report

Go thru wizard (data range should be already filled in)

Drag Part Number and price into ROW field and COUNT of part number into VALUE field

Finish

When pivot table is created, copy all of it and paste special values
Delete pivot table, delete original list, delete Count of part number column

You will be left with a unique list of part numbers and prices and the whole thing should take less than 5 mins
