Copying announcements to another valboard

I would like to copy a current announcement from valboard 02A02 to valboard 006V9. The valboards are located at different sites, one annc. is the main and the other is for DR purposses.

Using VAL Manager backup the VAL board in 02A02 to your PC. Then you should be able to use the copy/move feature or VAL Manager to upload them to 006V9.

Save the announcement via Val manager to your PC
Admin the announcement on the other board – in the Avaya system

If you have a different name for the announcement you can change that once the wav file is on your pc

Upload the announcement to the new VAL – via val manager

I know this isn’t step by step – it’s a general overview and assumes you know how to use VAL Manager
