I'm wanting to copy a company in pro series sbt 5.0.
Company is going out of business. Needs to set up another set of books with the a/p customer file, the a/r customer file, the general ledger account numbers , and the i/c database . We don't want the general ledger accounts to copy over the ending balances. I want zero beginning balances. i want all the vendors names, addresses, but with no balances due to them. Can I do this.

Hi Debie,

I think, SBT 5.0 has a tool to do what you need.

When you install a new application (i.e. AP) SBT will ask if you want to copy data from another company, your answer will be Yes and follow the copier tool.

If it does not run the way you want, I think you will have to do some programming jobs.

Also visit for some additional help.

Good luck!
