I have a local microsoft access database (working copy)that holds some tables and
a copy on the server (for users).
We make the changes on our local db, and copy all the db
to the server (over the old db).
Is it possible that when copying the db, that a certain table in the db
wouldn't be able to be copied by default?
I'd like a certain table to stay on server as is, but it can't be a
read-only table, for it is changed by users (only) when using the site(asp).
I don't want the programmers to change the data in the table by mistake, but only
if we choose to (password or something?).
Buttom line - I'd like to copy all tables but one, by default,
and copy it only if we choose to (once in a life time), while the
table in the db on the server, can't be a read-only table.
Hope I'm clear.
Anyone pls?
Thanks
