I am in a real hurry with several things to do. I want to just copy a pre-existing into the same database. This is so that I can play with the order of rows and later I'll write some macro's for some real fine tuning.
I think what you want to do is get a copy of a table to play with. Simplicity plus. Right click on the real table. Copy then paste and play with the copy to your hearts content. Robert Berman

Naturally,(1) the first thing I had tried was that right-click thing but for some reason it wasn't giving me what I had expected it to do. I then tried;(2) click & dragging, building a blank database and do copy and paste and that didn't work. I got pissed and did somethin' else after posting that thread. Later, I read your response and I tried 1 again and it worked.
