If a Supervisor has created their own report in SCCS 4.2 and would like to share it with collegues, is there a way to copy the report template and load it to another client without using crystal???
I know you can copy real time display templates.

Any ideas?

The only way I know is to identify the file, copy it to the other machine and then import it into the Symposium report generator.

NoNo Nortel,

If it is a user defined report where they have just duplicated the existing Nortel report and modified it, then you can copy the access table file and distribute that to other machines...However, if it is a user created report created in Crystal and then imported, then it needs to be imported on all the machines...

Fonchick,

Do you need to delete the user id associated with the report?

change the user ID associated with the report in the access table to None and anyone can access the report

Which Access db is it? I see them in \program files\nortel networks\clent\en\data, but it's not readily apparent which db stores the required info.

No worries - I found it.

If anyone wants to know for future reference it's nicrpt.mdb under Program Files\Nortel Networks\Symposium Call Center Server\Client\en\data
