Hi all,

I recently posted a question asking how to copy and paste multiple rows. However my requirements have now changed.

It is needed that the user can copy a single field and then select then same field in multiple rows to paste into. For example, if the user copies a number from field 'Plate ID' and wanted the same value in the next 40 rows in the same field.
Is Paradox able to perform this function and if so how do I go about doing it?

This is vital for the success of my system so any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Woody.

Woody,

Allthough I am not a progammer, I would have thought that something along the lines of a copytoArray to retrieve the field contents and then use a scan or loop command to copy the array value into the required number of fields. Does the user need to imput the number of rows to copy the value into? I am sure this could easily be applied to the pushbutton event or even changevalue event. Perhaps one of our esteemed experts could give more details of the coding.

Trust the concept helps,

Regards,

Lewy
