Copying a report from a form

We have developed a detailed form, but since I need to link to a table outside the database, I had to write a query.

Is there anyway to copy the form to a report format so we do not have to do a lot of rekeying?

The other choice is to copy the form and link it to the query. However, at that point we need to eliminate the combo boxes, because we only need to print.

Or am I thinking totally incorrectly. Is there a better way to do this?
