Is there a way to copy all SP's from 1 Database to another?
If so, can you show me how?

Thanks

OK ...

In the DTS design mode, choose "Copy SQL Server Objects Task". In there you will set your source connection and then a destination connection.

After that, the 3rd tab will cover "what" you want to transfer. If it is stored procedures, you will UNCHECK the "copy data" option as well as the "copy all objects" and "use default options".

Then choose the "Select Object" button. When that opens, UNCHECK all the options EXCEPT the "Show All Stored Procedures".

Then choose "Select All" which should select all of the SPs that are within that database.

Once that is done, you should be ready to execute the package.

Thanks

Sorry ... missed one step ... when you,

Then choose "Select All" which should select all of the SPs that are within that database.

YOU THEN NEED TO click the "Check" Button to place a check mark by the SPs needing to be exported.

Thanks

Thanks alot Jay. In the third tab, do I need to uncheck the "Create destination objects & it's 3 sub-checkboxes?
