I have to setup a new Accpac database and copy Vendors from an old one. I went to Vendors Import/Export and the feed lists many fields for the Vendor Master. I don't know which fields I should be importing and could use some help. I just want to import all the data fields without any stats. I have already setup/imported in the new AP module all the option tables. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the fast reply. Are you saying I can Import all the fields from the old Vendor Master into the new database without a problem?. Thanks again.

You can import all the fields into the new database, provided you have the same vendor groups, account sets, terms, etc. defined in your new AP.

Yep, I have everything setup the same way as the old database. I seem to be having a slight problem on the Import and wonder if you came up against this. I am using Excel 2000 to Export the old records into my new database. When I go to Import I am getting kick outs becasue it says it can't convert a field to an integer. The fields involved in the Excel sheet contain O's and 1's. I'm sure this is something to do with Excel and wonder if you had this problem and have any suggestions.

Thanks again.

1. What version of Accpac?
2. Did you edit the spreadsheet between the export and the import?

AccPac AP Module is 4.2 and I didn't edit the import file.
