Hi,

I have a big trouble to backup Qmail on debian to a Windows 2003 server...
I have install SFU on my windows to see all file from the debian, that worls fine.
But when I use robocopy to copy all data from the debian...i could see on the robocopy process the transfer of file as 10 Mo...for exemple, and when i check the propertys of the file on my windows server, the same file have 1 Mo or less .....what's wrong on there ?
I need to backup 200 mail box...i don't know where is the bug?
I have try with the windows explorer...it's the same...
Sorry for my bad language....
Help

What is the size of the file on the Debian server? Try checking with ls -l and du to see if they report the same file sizes.

Hi

So i have found why we have the bug....
The mail system used create one file by email with this type :115668745D.H54687646556:2,S
Each mail have unique ID....when i copy it on windwos 2003
the filename is correct but the size is 0Ko
If i copy the file on FTP i have the correct size, but the name is not conserved all file are "2,S"
The trouble is Windows name of the file the :2,S are not working with microsoft.
