I have two computers that are running Windows 2000 Professional. I want to set up system policies on one computer and copy the policies to the 2nd one. Is there any way to do this without setting up a domain with Windows 2000 Server?

Hi Masterpjz9,

at your own risk!
The policies are values stored in the registry, so you could possibly copy them from one machine to another using *.reg files.
A lot of them you can find if you search for "policies" inside registry. Or you can have a look at the *.adm files (c:\winnt\inf e.g.) to find out the places of special policy values, and their meanings.
Warning
If you do so, you have to know, what you're doing, because you can damage your installation, especially, if you are using the entries under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

Bye
Chris
