i have created a financial report for Month to date sales using a summary table. is there a way to copy this report and use it against another summary table (YTD, 3 year history ect.. changing ONLY the table?

also i am developing in CR 6, will these reports migrate to ver 7 or 8 without much updating?

thank :)

If the fields have the same names in the other tables, you will only have to change the table. If the fields have different names you will have to remap any fields that have changed. V7 and V8 will ask you to remap the fields if it doesn't find them.

The reports will automatically go from 6 to 7 or to 8. But, they can't go back to 6 once they are saved. I would update them, save them, close and reopen them in the newer version before trying to change tables. Ken Hamady
