Copy/Paste randomly running slow

I have someone who has an issue where Word randomly starts to run slow when trying to copy and paste. I have tried to reinstall office, defrag, recreate windows profile. I'm seriouly stumped on this and was wondering if anyone has seen this before or has any suggestions for me.

I would suggest save your work from time to time and clear the cache that way.
