Copy/Paste Problems in Attachmate 9.0

Hey there. So we have 2 versions of Attachmate in the office. 9.0 will not allow me to copy "protected" data from one screen to another. The 8.0 verion will but mine won't. Buggin' out over here. Basically I'm writting 9 digit numbers on post-its all day so I can re-write them, transpose them and get them wrong all day long.
I'm no IT guy, My IT guy told me to ask you. Gee thanks. What can I do?
We're hand writing 9 digit numbers all day here.

I'm sorry. I'm not asking from a programming standpoint but rather a user angle. Is this an issue that needs to be reprogrammed? Maybe I'm over my head (and pay grade) with this question.

Yes, I did get this resolved. It was a simple fix once I found it. There is a feature in the Edit selection of the Options menu to "copy protected fields" Once I found this option and enabled it I was off and running. A world of difference in a job where all I do is transfer data.
