Is it possible to create a macro that copies user defined cells from one workbook to user defined cells in another? Basically we are trying to use paste special to get data from a plain list in one workbook into a "form" in another workbook.

Appologies if this is a simple question but I am only a user of Excel not an advanced user.

Thanks in advance

yup - best place for you to start is Tools>Macro>Record Macro

Record yourself doing what you need to do and post back if you need help modifying it
