copy-paste arabic text

hi,

ive got 2 problems yet.
1. my english is wicked - so it will be hard for me to explain - but i´ll try:
2. im not able to copy paste arabic texts (i get them as winword doc´s) from word into pagemaker.

i thought this might be no problem, cause both programs are able to write and display arabic fonts an texts.
but now it drives me crasy - cause it doesnt work any way i tried !

also, i found no format to save the doc in winword and import them in PM to display them accurate.

hope you understand my problem und someone might know some help

1. PageMaker is old, and not able to see the full set of glyphs which make up an OpenType font.

2. You may also need a Middle Eastern version of PageMaker, though it's being superseded by Adobe InDesign ME now.

yes ive heard about this ME version
but i thought, if PM is able to write arabic (when i change my systemlanguage) it might be also able to import arabic texts.

at least its a question of money to use the ME version.

i thought there is a trick or something - but if the trick is to buy a new program its harder than i thought
