copy/ paste after minutes of successful use

Hello all
I am using attachmate X-treme 9.1 for telnet and ssh under win7 64. Everything works fine for probably 6 to 12 minutes and then, all paste functions stop. I think copying does work because I can copy text from my telnet session into some other app. But paste breaks and I have no idea what to do to fix this.. Been an Attachmate user for many years and many different versions and they've all seem to do this.

what am I doing wrong?
