Hi,

Is there a way to copy multiple files from one router to another?

I have more than 100 files that I need to copy to another identical model router, I used tftp (copy flash:CiscoLogo.gif tftp://192.168.1.2) and then recopy from tftp server to a router, or copy from and to an usbflash0: (copy flash:CiscoLogo.gif usbflash0:) to copy files but it only allows to copy one file at a time, by the time i copy to 70something files, I got confused not to mention time consuming.

Anyone one has any pointer that I can copy multiple files, I appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

K

You may need to do it via script like expect. You can use FTP place the files from one router to another but I dont think you will get around the 1 file at a time issue because I dont think anything like mput or mget is supported on IOS FTP Server.

What I would do is build a file that your script can reference that lists all the flash files you want moved. Write the script to loop through until all of the files are successfully transferred. Would be happy to help write it if needed.
