COPY JOBS INCREDIBLY SLOW

Hello all,

Our scenery:
WIN2K DOMAIN
HP Ml150 proliant g2 server
windows 2003 server sp1 just reinstalled
HP DLT VS80 TAPE DRIVE (INSTALLED WITH BLOCK FACTOR 64KB)
Brigthstor arcserve 11.1 SP2

When i try to copy jobs (With mirror option)from our remote file server has terrible throughput (20MB/MIN, 35/MB/MIN, ETC)

When i do copy jobs (MIRROR OPTION) from other remote servers , throughput is good (100MB/MIN, 200MB/min, even 500MB/MIN)



I cant really blame the network since the servers are on the same backbone, and when i do a BACKUP to
tape from the remote file server with the problems, I get good rates of throughput.

I am about to try a job without the mirror option.


I dont really know what to do anymore.....

For the record


The problem was Backup Agent for open files version 2000 running on the remote server.

When I disabled such service, Copy jobs went just perfect.
