Is there away to copy a formula to prevent having to create individual formulas with the same parameters except for a single word or two:

i.e.

I have Budgets & Actuals for each Month in 2008, 2009 and projections for 2010.

Current:
Formula Name - Print_August_Budget_2009

whileprintingrecords;
currencyvar var_bud_aug;
currencyvar var_bud_aug

New:
Formula Name - Print_August_Actual_2009

whileprintingrecords;
currencyvar var_act_aug;
currencyvar var_act_aug

And so on & on.

Thanks so much for any advice I can get...

Provided the Variables are evaluated at the same time, you can have one formula to do them all so you can do your budget and actuals at the same time.

However, you will need individual formula to display the results.

When you've got lots of similar items, you can save a little time by doing a paste to a dummy report, changing the name and then pasting back.

It might also be a good case for an array. Crystal allows them, though I've not used them much and can't advise on details.
