copy folder names from cd to Db 1

Hello
i need some help, i've been trying to make an option on the switchboard i created to automaticaly enter folders (not files) from my cd-rom into my database..

i've been trying to find something to show me the way but i can't find anything.even books i bought when i started the Db says nothing about what i'm trying to do.does anyone know of a good tut on what i'm trying to do? or instructions for me to play with..
please remember i'm a noobe when it come to access.

You could look at Dir, FileSystemObject and Application.FileSearch. You could also use these terms as keywords to search these fora.

i tried looking for some tuts, it's highly possible i found it and just didn't understand it(as i said i'm a total noobee with access)..if someone here suggested a tut i would read it as being applicable and give alot more thought,because of the respect i have for the people that offer help on this site(first time on this board).......they've been VERY helpful in the past

I have used the following "Shell Browse" code and it works well

This lets you browse for a folder and returns the folders path. You should be able to copy it off the site and drop it into a module.
