Hi,

Is there an easy way to copy flag information I've set in a Gantt chart across to a resource view? I know I could go through and reset the flag in both views, but just wondered if there's a quicker way to do it?

I'm using Project Standard 2013.

Thanks.

Give us a bit more information. What is the criteria in the flag field on the Task view? Would the same criteria exists from a resource perspective?

I'm setting up a programme for a construction site, looking forward to the next year or so. Some of the houses are definitely going ahead, while others are only projections based on sales budgets. I set up a flag field in the Gantt chart and formatted it so that it was clear at a glance which plots are confirmed and which are projected. I've resourced the programme to specific subcontractors, and want to be able to see the same information when looking at the upcoming workload for each resource.

So you have a "confirmed" flag in the Gantt chart view showing which projects are confirmed and will run. And you want to see that information appearing in the Resource Usage view on each assignment? If so, you'll need to refine the code sample on the following TechNet Wiki article. LinkYou need to transfer the flag from the Task field to the assignment field to show the data in the Resource Usage view on the assignment lines.
