copy files from NT server to W2000 server

I'm trying to copy files from one old NT server to a new server. I've copied all the files already but I need to make one final pass and only copy the files that have changed since the first copy was made.

I'm using Xcopy but I need a way to look back at what files it wasn't able to copy (for whatever reason there are some that are listed as access denied). Is there some command I can enter ahead of the xcopy that will essentially log whatever the xcopy command does to a log file?... or is there another way to do this?
