Copy files from CD to PC - Change to Achive?

I am trying to copy files from a CD to C:\, thats okay, but the files end up read only. Is there an easy way to filecopy files so they arrive read/write. Thanks

If they all go into the same folder, can't you just right-click the top-level folder and uncheck the "Read-only" attribute?

Thanks folks, solved it myself. Changing File attributes, found a good MSDN reference, might help someone else.
