copy Excel data into Word label template

I have one column of about 30 rows of info that I need to paste into a word label template. How do I get each row to paste into the correct cell in word? I can get it to paste into each row down the page, but some of those rows should be blank to allow for the space between the full page of labels. I appreciate the help!
 
Hi,

Are you not using the Envelopes & Labels menu option? That puts the mailmerge fields in the right place on each label.

I'm not sure what you mean. I have a template already created for me in word for my labels.
 
And MailMerge? Are you using it?
