Copy ESXi logs

I need to copy my ESXi logs so I can email them out for analysis. Would someone please let me know how to do this?

I can get to the CLI using ALT/F1 then "unsupported", but it's a pretty slim linux implementation and I don't know what all is available, i.e. will it load a usb drive? where does it mount that if it loads it?

Thanks for any pointers.
