What is easiest way to copy directives and schedules from one datazone to the other. I am setting up a new data zone and would like to use the same schedules and directives as what I am using in another datazone.

About the only way I can think of is to export it through nsradmin do some reformatting and import it back in.

nsradmin -i {commandfile} >output.txt
then format this into a file to import it followed by...
nsradmin -i {inputfile}

backbeat21,

Forgive my ignorance but please elaborate on {commandfile}.

Ok, I exported the directives to a file. What should the input file to the new backup server look like with the following new directive? Do I need to import ALL directives (including the the standard directives) or only the new directives?

name: No SQL Server Directive;
