is there any way i can copy and paste the design mode of a table? I need to see the Field name, the data type and the description?

You could Copy 'n' Paste, name th copy and then open and delete the data.

i'd like to paste it in excel. i don't want the data, i just want to see the data design in table format... make sense?
 
The documentation tool in Access may come close. Can be pretty verbose, but if you select only the tables, you may get what you want. You will have to cut / paste and tweak.

I like to print the schema with the relationship open.
